Stuck on Loading Screen (Infested Barrens)

Please help. I'm obsessed with this game and my mercenary is just stuck on a loading screen in act 3 Infested Barrens.

I tried restoring licenses on ps5 - I tried uninstalling and re-installing, I tried turning crossplay on/off. Nothing works. I just select my character and it shows the loading screen for "infested barrens" and just stays there forever.

I'm able to create a new character and I get into the game just fine - but I want to play the character that I was playing.

Please let us know if there's any update to this! I see other players on PS5 are having the same issue.
