Infested Barrens won't load

I've been attempting countless app restarts, game settings changes, cross play disabled, etc. Nothing has allowed me into the infested barrens. Sadly just watching all my friends continue on without me.

Same thing is happening to me. I got to level 37 and now I can't play anymore. I can start a new character but my guy is frozen on the loading screen for infested barrens.

Please fix!

You can unstuck your character by enabling couch coop mode. Put Player1 as another character, and use player 2 as your stuck character, it's gonna loaded your stucked character into the map where player 1 is at. However it doesn't solve the problem whereby infested barrens can't to loaded into

Go to starting page, change your graphics to bilinear, resolution to 1980x1080.

Hopefully that solves the problem.

Wow..... this actually worked. I made a fresh level 1 character. Loaded that as player 1, loaded my 7 hour load screen stuck char as player 2 and it loaded him in.

It's good you solved it but in future in cases like these you may need to create a new server instance of the area. The old one may be borked somehow and not letting you load into it.

The option in this case is to wait the 8-10 minutes for your instance to be closed, or create a new instance of the area.

To do this go to the 'doorway' that would take you there, or, click on the waypoint on the map.

Now press and hold the X button.
(normally you just press X to transition to an area or warp to a waypoint. in this case press and hold.)

This should bring up the instance panel and you can select the option for New Instance.

IF this is successful your friends can then go to the pause menu, select your character in the party and choose the Warp To Player option.

I was stuck at a load screen. Could not enter the game. I selected my character and infinite load. Couldn't even get in.

His solution fixed the issue. I can now select my character and actually get in the game.

I have this exact issue, tried the resolution change in the comments but that didn’t work. Still stuck in the Infested Barrens loading screen after 30 mins!
