Well I'm happy for you, and hopefully there are enough of you to keep this game alive.
I think the main thing is that many players want to feel powerful, or at least have the feeling they are becoming more powerful. So far all I have felt is weakness. But again, maybe there are more people that want to feel this way and the game becomes successful. |

I am similarly astounded. I played PoE for 8 years, and I enjoyed most of that time.
I love PoE 2 so far though. I feel like I'm going insane whenever I read posts about yhe bosses being bad, which for me is the biggest improvement over the first game, and it's not even close... Different strokes for different folks I suppose! |

I want to like the game as there's a lot of good in it, but it's extremely clear none of the bosses (or the Sekhema trial in A2) were designed for melee. My experience as a warrior from start to up until now has been incredibly, incredibly frustrating. I'm at the A2 Ekbab and Iktab fight and this is where I throw in the towel; tiny area filled to the brim with shit you need to spend the entire fight dodging, barely having any room to do damage, and no way to replenish flasks. It's death by attrition and every time I make some tiny amount of progress, I can't even chalk it up to personal skill. It's pure luck whether I die in one or five minutes. I can't believe how ill-conceived this fight is, my god. Just the thought that there's probably going to be tens more like this is depressing.

Remember one thing, folks: the people who like and defend this game are either 1) streamers who get subs or 2) SRS braindead players.

lot's of people expecting poe1 and to feel op in the first 24 hours. That said there is obviously balance issues to get ironed out for some classes.

The game is beautiful. The combat is a bit tedious at times but it's early access. It really just feels like Ruthless, which isn't really my cup of tea. I'm sure for some this will be fun. I don't think it will hold on to me though.
I hope they continue to develop POE1 if this is the expected norm in POE2. |

" I struggled a bit early. I'm not a PoE player but play 1,000s hour hours of ARPGs. I'm not a souls like player either. I'm playing witch and onces I got good combos of skills, spirit and minion skills rolling everything started to feel great clear wise. Ascending and getting my hell hound was massive power jump too. I actually feel more like I'm playing an MMORPG like WoW with how many spells im using and WASD. GGG could make very early game feel better and have more crafting drops, gems, regals. Movement speed is a game changer as well and really you need it early. I'm looking forward to how the game feels latter level now that kill speed is decent and feel like I have an arsenal of abilities. |

Remember one fact, the VASE MAJORITY of people game are busy enjoying it and playing playing it and not complaining on the forums that the Early Access game they bought is in Early Access.
