Unable to turn in Ancient Vows

Quest: Ancient Vows
Location: Valley of the Titans
Objective: Turn in Relics.

I was questing with my brother. We both got to the Medallion/Relic turn in point. My friend (The at the time area host) was able turn in quest for rewards. However whenever I try to turn it in it wont let me insert either Sun Clan or Kabala Clan Relics. I've tried restarting my game. I tried multiple different instances of the zone. Same issue every time. I have made special care to left click and right click the alter and the statue in an effort to get the turn in square to stay. The Black Star/Square where you obviously insert the relics disappears anytime I try to pull out my relics and putting relic where the insert point would be just results in dropping my item. I'm unable to finish this quest for the rewards it offers.

have the same problem as i had the first relic i was able to insert but now i have the second i cant insert it...

Same problem here, clicking the altar doesn't lock the socket window so I am unable to put the items into place.

I have the same problem, whenever I want to put in the second part the UI of relic disappears making me unable to put it in

I too am having the same issue. After only inserting one then went and found the second and came back it will not allow me to insert the second.
(Edit): Just found a fix. if you hold alt while hovering over the relic stand where the UI popup comes up it will allow you to drag and drop the relics in as long as you hold ALT. hope this solves everyones issues.
