Please delete this accounts steam link so I can link my POE 2 account to steam

I have not used this account for ages, it’s from 2011, because it’s linked to steam (why can’t I unlink it? That’s ridiculous) I am unable to use another login that has the early access purchased to link to steam.
I can’t even manually even delete the old account. I’ve messaged support but still no response. I purchased early access before it released, unable to play even on day 2 as I just keep getting the error: You cannot merge two accounts with the same login methods.

I'm afraid that it is not possible to merge two accounts that have the same login method (i.e. two email linked accounts) as this causes conflicts between the two login methods.

Tried contacting support to remove my steam link from this account, I can’t even send the mail either the email server saying:

So I think I found the issue with mine...but I cannot fix it on my end.

So apparently I had a poe account from way back, made using poe1 PC.

With poe2 when I purchased the game on xbox, there was no login/singup or anything.

I then purchased on steam and went to sign in/verify thru poe2 and it asked me to select which system I am using, I picked pc/steam, but nothing, so I then went and selected xbox. and it connected to xbox.

But it would not connect my steam, apparently it made my steam connection stay with my older account.

Even tho, they both are on the same email.

So yeah, this is mess, especially seeing how there's no unlink button/delete account?, which seemingly would just allow me to create new account with my 1 email and then link xbox, then PC.

Until the issue is sorted, stuck with just playing on xbox, and I feel for those who can't get in at all via pc/steam linking issue.
