Uxmal, the beastlord problem

Well I went to do the trial of chaos and during the 3 trials I chose energy shielded on the enemies, the problem is that the boss also came with energy shield. As uxmal has some abilities that allow him to fly and leave combat, when he returns the energy from the energy shield is complete, making it impossible to kill him since he flies at a very high frequency.
