Movement speed adjustment could be beneficial

While playing and comparing to a lot of other isometric ARPG titles, I can't help but think the PoE2 pace might be a little too slow.

GGG said up front that the speed of the game is going to be a lot slower than PoE1, and that is perfectly fine in my own opinion, but it may need some adjustment as searching zones can become a chore early on. It wouldn't be good to have a first time player's initial impression be that they spend too much time walking through zones looking for exits or objectives. Even a extremely conservative movement speed adjustment could have a huge effect on general enjoyment and QoL of the game.

Having a slight adjustment to the base movement speed could help get people back into the parts of the game they enjoy, but it also could have widespread effects through the whole game if it's not handled extremely carefully. Too much movement speed and combat becomes an endless exercise in kiting. The movement speed is baked into the pace of the combat so it would be tricky to make this adjustment.

It could be it's too early to say how much of a problem this is going to be, if it is one at all, but I do know bringing this up in #Global will get you a very spirited response on both sides of the fence. People are definitely thinking about it whether they love it or hate it.

These are my two cents, I'd love to get other opinions as well. This game being version 0.1.0 means giving player feedback early is helpful.

EDIT: This should have gone into Early Access Feedback but I dumped it into Discussion on accident. x_x
