What's the point of a loot filter

The drops are so bad and infrequent that there's nothing to filter out. I'm level 10 and have no yellow equipment that fits my build and I've picked up and identified all 4 of the drops

Yeah, definitely no need for Neversick to go through the trouble. Not just the drops but when the player count drops to just the relatively small minority that were ruthless players in PoE1, there will be no demand.

Wow, it's amazing that you guys are in the endgame already and know all of this stuff instead of having really shit takes on a game that's been out in EA less than 24 hours.

Loot drops and loot tables are a core mechanic of the game and aren't going to change at later levels.

There are plenty of blue's that are really good at level 10.

Plenty of crafting currency, exalts, etc. Make your gear.

This is a different game, and the gear here is different from POE 1. You will not see 50 item worth of loot explosions where 99% is trash that you need to filter out.

Gearing tips:
- Check vendor every level
- Gather all blues and yellows
- Dismantle items with sockets and quality on the bench (Unlocked late Act 1) or Disenchant them with Una or similar NPC's.
- You can identify for free as soon as you find Cloaked Shadow man.
- When you have mats - gather white base items that look promising and upgrade them

You will likely not wear all yellows until late Act 2 - wear blues instead. You will have 3-4 yellows by the end of Act 1.

Filters are still useful. I use them to filter out white items for right now, so I can quickly pick up socketed gear to dismantle or base items fitting for my class (Energy Shield only).
