Loot is awful.

You need to do something about loot please...

Doing a boss and the boss give me a weapon that it even not for me is ... awful.

Empty chest just after killed a big enemy...

Please, I like this game but we really need more loot...

wait, there is loot in this game? you can't get a yellow item even if you pray to god
Dropped an insane unique Devouring Diadem from a regular yellow mob. Till i started dropping stuff, it defo felt unrewarding, because thats how campaign is supposed to be in terms of growing loot. From that point on you play with the mindspace that any next piece of gear dropped will be the next best thing.
Level 24 now. I found a unique for another class that was also probably useful only 10+ levels below me. Found one rare boot that was a great upgrade. Everything else has been crafted blues. Except the weapon which took all my currency, was a fantastic upgrade for like half an act, and now I have no currency to craft a new upgrade.

Loot is not underwhelming, it simply doesn't exist.
Jonathan said if you dont get multiple exalts in act 1 they failed
and oh boy did they fail 1 exalt in act 1 and 1 alc in act 2 until the third gate same as above
i believed you Jonathan so i used them my mistake from now on i will save them up for big gear upgrades
I do enjoy the fact that the ground is not cluttered with 100s of useless items. I also like that they spoke about using crafting more early on to help you with your items.
However... the loot does need to be tweaked quite a bit in my opinion.

I killed a few yellow mini-boss mobs today..no loot. ZERO. I opened a few blue and yellow chests in the crypts...no loot. Literally nothing dropped from yellow mobs and chests. Kill the bosses...1 blue item and 38 gold, with 1 trans orb and skill gem.

I just beat Lachlan, and I've only found one Exalt, 7 or 8 trans orbs, and 1 regal.
4 yellow items total.

Also, I'm mostly getting white crossbows for drops; which are useless for my Sorc.

Overall, I agree with them lowering the loot drops...but this first few days feels like it's tweaked way too far.

It's just feel unrewarding... The game is hard, reward us better...

Please, do something about the loot...

ouch.

i played 1 char to the end of act1, and another to half way through act1 and so far ive had about 10 exalts?

1 alch, 2 regal and 1 chaos.

are you speed running areas and leaving most of the monsters and chests etc untouched? or are u virtually full clearing? ive been full clearing everything pretty much.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
Just killed act 2 boss on hard mode, dropped a rare boots that has nothing to do with my class or build, 3 blues that has nothing to do with my class or build. No currency, nothing exciting, nothing fun. All that hard work for NOTHING...

The issue is that with less loot drops, either the quality must go up, the loot needs to somehow be targeted in some way to your class/build, or the player themselves needs to have meaningful influence over either what is drop or the results from crafting. By release there will theoretically be far too many options for builds for it be feasible to keep such low drop rates and not frustrate people from lack of loot that fits their build.
