Tinker's tool missing?

can't seem to find this in the quarry, did the map 2X over and nothing

Same for me. Cannot seem to find anything to complete this mission. There was some chest in the middle of the map with the chekpoint statue, but I got only 3 gold from it and the mission is still not done.
