Crossbow reload + dodge
Please, for the love of Kitava
The Crossbow loads, and if you dodge a projectile or hit, it reloads again; that's the most ANNOYING THING I'VE EVER experienced in A GAME. Also, that makes the shooting experience feel like a complete mess, to be honest. It's super annoying to click like crazy trying to shoot and dodging and not being able to shoot because every time you dodge, the crossbow loads and loads and loads. agreed. There should also be a reload current ammo button and a cooldown before they automatically reload.

" Once the crossbow has already been reloaded, it doesn't matter what you do afterward; it should be ready to shoot. Period. But no, the crossbow loads because you hear the reload sound, "Oh, look, a horde of mobs faster and stronger than me are approaching. I NEED TO DODGE", you dodge and the crossbow WILL RELOAD AGAIN. It doesn't make any sense. |

The problem im running into is, that i have no real indication on how long the reload for ammo is and how long it needs until i can fire again. Also while switching ammo on the keyboard and i hold down the fire key while doing it, there is sometimes a problem where it wont fire at all until i realease the button and press again, wich just feels weird and clunky.

Not sure what sort of bug you people are running into.
The reload can be cancelled by a dodge. This makes sense. Once it is reloaded, no amount of dodging is going to unload it. I have not experienced this strange bug you are all talking about in my 18 hours of xbow pathfinder gameplay. |

" I'm not saying this is a bug; I'm saying it's not a good gameplay design. Cancelling a reload with a dodge before the reload happens is correct. But if the reload has already happened (because you can clearly hear the reload sound) and you dodge right after the sound ends, you would expect to be able to shoot after the dodge but the crossbow will reload again. That's not correct. The sequence should be: * shot > reload > shot (without dodge) * shot > reload > dodge > shot (with dodge) What really happens is: * shot > wait until it reloads > dodge > reloads again for some reason > You have to spam clicks until the shot is fired, which takes up to X seconds, depending on the support gems you have linked to your main skill. |

Ironically, the crossbow is the only weapon that has this problem. I like the idea of it having limited shots and the reload mechanic, but don't punish me by making that reload get interrupted by dodging. Either remove it, or add a similar punishment for every other weapon type.

I think it is more easily noticed on shotgun ammo since they need to reload more often. It's a weird bug where, if you hold to shoot, and dodge in the middle of a reload, even if you keep holding the shoot button your character will neither reload nor shoot, you have to release the shoot button and press it again, which is very counter intuitive, especially if you have it on the right trigger which is the default, and in some intense situations, can lead to awkward and unnecessary deaths. I am enjoying the game a lot, but this bug is driving me crazy ngl.

If this is in fact a bug hopefully it gets resolved because it drives me nuts.
I like the design of the reloads for different abilities but I think I need 2 things. 1. is a reload bar UI. like synthetic, outside of the animation and the sound (both get lost in a hectic fight), I have no idea when I'm locked and loaded to start shooting. 2. less firing delay. now I'm not sure if there are perks down the line that fix this but currently at lvl 25ish on act 2 I find I'm always pushing the hell out of my left mouse button with the inner monkey in my brain screaming "WHY YOU NO SHOOT" it's proving to be a frustrating experience. |

i love the game so far but this "reloaded but can´t shoot" bug is really frustrating.
no problem with dying on bosses several time but this thing could be the end for my controller |
