Character stuck at act 2

So after finishing the quest The Mad Wolf of Ogham, ended up in ac2 and cleared the first map, went to the ship and visited 2 places in the map inside the ship, after the second one (can't remember the name) the game got frozen and logged me out. Since then I haven't been able to play my Witch lvl 18, i created another character, tried other servers with the new character and it works fine, it seems like she is stuck in that map or something like that. Is there a way to fix this?

I forgot to add, everytime i go to my character list and click this character and choose to play the game with it, the game loads and crashes after, it's been 1 hour like this almost

Go to a waypoint, then see if an 'Act 2' tab is at the top. That's how I got past getting stuck in Act 2 after a server crash.

I would try that if I only was able to log in with that character but i cannot pass the character list screen because the game crashes everytime i click "Play" selecting this character

FIXED: just need to validate files on steam again
