I can only post one message before I get blocked from sending more with the message "Please wait before sending another chat message".

I'm having the same issue. I thought I had some new account restrictions or something, but friends who played POE1 for many hours and the ones who tried POE2 for the first time do not have this issue.
Usually, I can send one message per minute or so... when lucky I can type two. The issue is: Why is this restriction enabled in whispers, party, and guild chats? I get that it can somehow save Global Chat from being spammed, but I can't have a normal conversation with a friend on my friendlist because of that. This is my first time trying out POE truly, and this BUG is a real pain in the peach. PLEASE FIX THIS, THANK YOU <3 |

Adding my 2 cents. This is so annoying! Please, please change this. I can understand if you are in the public chat sure. Or whispering someone you don't know. But why the hell would you put this limitation on friends or parties. I mean we are having a conversation. I'm sorry I type too fast for you???

I suckered my buddy into buying into the early access last night to party up with me, and he's noticed the same thing.
Doing some research, at least from what I can tell, or have found, it was a means in PoE to ensure new accounts can't keep being remade to spam BOT messages. It does make sense I suppose. But the way bot messages happen can certainly be looked into and changed up a bit. Same issue as Lunachi, there is no reason someone on my friends list, or in the same guild should be restricted to chat limitations, it's quite annoying when we're having a conversation. Worst part is, he's not even the one who types fast, I am, and he's just trying to respond, or reply, but gets shut down with the chat restriction. It's a little silly. I do agree, the chat restriction should only be limited to whispers, Local, Trade, and Global. Everything else should be fair game. |
