Spell Cascade + Contagion

Just some feedback I just ran into. I tried grabbing Spell Cascade and linking it to Contagion, but it won't let me.

Spell Cascade "supports Spells (which Contagion is tagged as) that affect an area around you or a target location (which Contagion does, it's an AoE) [...] Cannot support Channeling skills (which Contagion isn't) or Remote skills (which Contagion isn't)."

I have plenty of int (it would end up costing 39 INT, I have 46 atm), so that's not the issue either. By anything I can see looking at the two spells, Spell Cascade should work with Contagion, but doesn't. Hoping it's an oversight or something and it can get patched in, or at least some sort of "hey this is why this doesn't work" can get patched in.

The text for Contagion in PoE2 starts: "Afflicts a single enemy with a debuff..." Spell Cascade doesn't work because the spell isn't cast as an AoE spell. It has an AoE tag because the spread can be supported with, for example, Magnified Effect Support.
