Cannot switch Client from Create Account or Link Existing

I bought an early access key through the poe2 website and was instructed to activate using Epic. So, when I ran it with "link account to epic", no emails. Instead, I decided to just select create new account and but my early access key obviously didn't transfer. So, I wanted to toggle back to "link my existing account", but now hitting LOGIN says I must buy an key. I can't find a way to clear that so I can try to link to my existing account that has my early access key.

Tried un/reinstalling the client in the hopes to clear the "use existing account" setting, but same issue after reinstall.
