Already quit PoE2 - too hard

I loved PoE1 and played for about 1000 hours and had a good time with it. PoE2 seems like a game for professionals or something. I'm older and slower now, but still good enough to make progress in most games, but this game isn't one of them. Was this created for and by streamers and the most dedicated try hard players? I died over and over even trying to get to the first town. The controls felt clunky for the demands the game was making on me.

I'm out on this game already.
