Cast on freeze

When using cast on freeze and cold snap I can only apply one freeze per enemy. After the first freeze procs and automatic cold snap ( cast on freeze ) consumes it there is no more freeze buildup. This doesn't happen when using cold snap manually

running into the same issue.
EDIT: also tried putting cold snap + another skill into cast on freeze. both get procced on the first freeze, but i cant seem to proc it a second time. Last edited by akropotes#4524 on Dec 7, 2024, 7:12:01 PM

Same issue for me as well. Just it doesn't trigger consistently even though I am getting constant freezes and I notice the energy sits at "0%" even while getting a freeze.

Also having the same issue. It does not happen if you use other skills in cast on freeze only cold snap.

My cast on freeze (with Cold snap socketed into it) will not gain energy and trigger. I have 60 spirit and it is active. Not sure if I could be doing something wrong? I meet the stat and level requirements for it.

I'm also experiencing that after cold snap triggers on cast on freeze, the enemies don't get any more freeze buildup. Also, sometimes cold snap doesn't seem to trigger even though an enemy gets frozen.

" Did you find a fix for this? I also just unlocked Cast on Freeze and it doesnt matter what I socket into it - it doesnt gain energy from freezing enemies. It's "activated" and consuming 60 spirit, and Ive tried socketing cold snap or frost bolt... but the energy % stays at 0 even when I freeze 10 enemies. |

" Cast on freeze + Cold Snap works, it's just that it only requires 41 Energy and you gain 100 Energy anytime something is frozen. Try using just frostbolt on white mobs and you will see a frostbolt being consumed and explode when it triggers (which is done often). freeze buildup issue I've seen too many times on Bosses now... |

the freeze scale stops displaying and the freeze is not applied again
