EA bonus and points on wrong account

Apparently, I have two Path of Exile (PoE) accounts linked, and it seems I accidentally started my character on the account without the EA bonus and points.

I've already sent an email to support about this, but I’m wondering—can they usually help with something like this? Specifically, transferring the bonus and points to the other account? Or should I just cut my losses and start a new character?

Don't you have previous microtransactions on your actual account? (the one from POE1 if you bought some)

If your current account is empty, except for your character, I think you should reroll directly on the correct account. Just ask someone to help you to transfer all your stuffs/currencies from your character to the new one. It's annoying for sure but you will be faster doing the same character again and won't have to wait days for the support to eventually do the changes. And you can enjoy your bonus from now..

I have nothing on my POE1 account. I have tried to reroll, but feelsbad when i'm already so far....

I'm not a fan of rerolling myself for the campaign (at least for POE1, not sure yet about POE2). But it's not the end of the world either, you're probably still in the campaign and not in endgame content yet, and you should take way less time. Especially if you transfer all your stuff.

Anyway, up to you to wait days for GGG support to see how they can "merge" otherwise.
BTW are you sure you got access to the EA on the second account? because it seems like few other people have similar issues, where they actually got their EA on a "wrong" account and not their usual account with their previous microtransactions.

Yeah it would be a pain, but not the end of the world I guess. I was just thinking the same thing, but actually I have EA on both accounts somehow, not sure if that was intended or not by GG?

That's good for you then, you can just switch easily. Just a bit annoying for you character, but just think you have free respect haha

Same problem with mine.
I just noticed that there is a drop down option which will let you choose which account to use and create a character. Bad design especially when I linked my steam account to my POE account and was notified what's my new created account hence it will be reasonable to expect that my POE2 character/log in screen will automatically be the account created when I linked my steam.

I have emailed the support. But I think will just reroll and just play the game.
Lucky for me I was just in 3 hours. But those 3 hours are very very precious as Im working family man. But yeah, nothing can do about it as of now.
I agree, bad design on their part. Can’t see why they would not fix this though, if not it would be very bad customer support on their part. My email to GGG keeps bouncing though, so not sure when it will be fixed :D
