POE 2 - Theft of Ivory quest

Hello,
I have a problem with the Theft of Ivory quest in act 2. I killed the double boss at the end of the quest a few times but the Tusk I need to finish the quest don’t drop. I’ve tried resetting the zone and it did nothing. I taked a look on Reddit and I’m not alone with this issue. Last bumped on Jan 18, 2025, 1:06:37 AM

I have the same problem, I killed 3-4 times after resetting , nothing changed...

Hi I had the same bug.
You have to kill the Mastodon first and then the Lich King - only in this way you will reveive the Tusks. |

I've made a post with similar complaints. If you can remember the order of the bosses you killed from your first attempt you HAVE to fight them in that order to get the item. Unknown if this is a bug or intended result, but the first time I ever fought it I killed mammoth first and failed on the sorcerer. I believe after you kill 1 of the bosses on your first try it sets the drop order to the other boss, so if you kill the boss the drop order is set to BEFORE the second boss on your subsequent attempts the game will not drop the item. Simple fix for me was (in my case) reversing boss order and killing the mammoth THEN the sorcerer. Hope this helps
