POE2 - Crash to desktop after 30-40 minutes (Maybe solved)

Hi,

The game crash randomly after several minutes of play.

In other thread, a workaround is to downgrade win11 version from 24H2 to 23H2, my window is already a 23H2 version, so I can't try to solve this issue with this workaround.

Ryzen 7 7700X
GEForce RTX 3080
32GO Ram
Window 11 23H2
Driver are up to date.
Steam integrity files verified

There is no message during the crash from an error manager, but in the win11 event viewer there is this error:

Window event log:

A PC with gaming issues...OMG !!!
In my case, it seems that downgrading nvidia driver to 560.94 solves the issue, but without guarantee :/

I also have the same problem, 30-40 minutes of gameplay and without fail it will crash or hang :(

Still enjoying the game though!!
Same issue for me on different specs. Game works fine and then randomly a freeze into a crash.
About 1 crash every 30min without fail.

DX12 puts my GPU around 75c
Vulcan puts my GPU at 100+c

So even if vulcan is a "fix" for some its not an option for me.
The VRAM usage do seem too high.
Yep, same crash after an hour or two with the same KERNELBASE.dll error in my application error log.
I want to also say that reverting the nvidia driver to 560.94 fixed this issue for me as well. After reverting and playing on default settings, there haven't been crashes.

I think I might have the same problem + today I updated Win 11.
After that I am experiencing these issues.
How do you revert nvidia driver?
If I check Under Device Manager 'Roll back' option is greyd out
same here, sometimes after 1hour it is crashing. is it a bug?:( using WIN11, all updated

- geforce 3070ti ver 566.36
- 64gb DDR5 ram
- ASUS TUF B650 motherboard
- AMD Ryzen 9 7950x (disabled integrated GPU from Bios)

Any recommendation?

I had same issue and it started working after running the game through NVIDIA GeForce Experience. Hope this helps!
