Maybe I’m just used to Path of Exile 1, as I have almost 4000 hours in it, but I don’t find it fun to die often or spend an hour fighting a single boss. A game should entertain me, yet instead, it’s stressing me out… It feels very similar to Diablo 4, but harder, so why should I play PoE 2? Diablo 4 and Dark Souls already exist… I’m sorry, but I think I’ll go back to playing PoE 1.

i agree. they want to be the dark souls of arpg's. this game will have a small base that likes it. its not going to be an everyone game. its not fun.

" Small base? There were more people playign it yesterday than the peak POE 1 numbers ever. Some of us see fun on overcomming challenges and they noticed a lot of potential costumers did not play POE 1 exactly because of the lawn mowing model of gameplay For me this game is in top 5 games of all time |

Yeah, this is kinda my take as well. I don't really mind it but it's just too damn hectic and not really why I play ARPGs. This is also why I didn't like some of the latter POE 1 leagues.

Don't forget it's also in early access and will be tuned greatly in the coming months. These devs listen to everything. That being said as a new player to PoE I am really enjoying myself. I was getting my ass kicked till I found a staff that increased my spell damage by 62% (blue) and started melting.
It is so tough but when you find that right piece of gear and take out the boss it makes it so worth it. I like how slow it is too compared to D4 (which I also enjoy playing, sue me) |

making the map meaningless huge is GGG solution? Campaign is to let player learn the game but look at POE2 campaign! it is meaningless - POE2 is completely different with POE1 gameplay turn out the hack and slash element is completely gone and more soul-like and Diablo-like element in POE2 as far i experience in the campaign - GGG planned to have 6 month of early access for this POE2 Damn they ditch POE1 that having more and more player base and focus this shit gameplay? Damn please dont disappoint your player! GGG! |
