"Use Life Flask" tutorial mechanic too late

I was killed by the Devourer and then the "Use Life Flask" reminder displayed AFTER I already died. As a result I was stuck on this screen and could not get out of this screen, I could not use any life flasks since I was already dead.

So I was forced to exit out to the Playstation home screen and close the POE2 game, losing my dungeon progress.
