If you manually recast Contagion, does it keep the current "jump count"?

Contagion gains 100% more damage per time it jumped from one target to another (up to a cap).

So let's say:

I cast Contagion on mob X, and it spreads to mob Y.

Mob Y now has a Contagion with a "jump count of 1" - it has 100% more damage, and if it spreads to someone else, it will have 200% more damage on that someone.

If I manually cast Contagion on Mob Y to renew the duration, will it reset to jump count 0 (0% more damage etc) or will it keep it?
