Cannot use Crossplay functionality

On PC, with family on Xbox. We have authorised crossplay on the Xbox, but are still unable to crossplay, despite the Xbox client specifically saying that crossplay was enabled. There are no settings I can find on the PC client to enable it, so I don't think that's the problem.

Error message is across two lines on my PC:

Incoming request ignored due to your cross platform limitations.
Request rejected due to counterpart cross platform limitations.

Could you check the crossplay setting on your Xbox to see if that is also enabled? It can be found under Settings in Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy. Select 'View details & customize' then 'Communication & multiplayer'.

That was the first step we tried, because it's impossible to turn it off at the ingame menu until it has been fixed at the xbox level.

We restarted the Xbox altogether, then invited on character, and it worked. Invited both together and it didn't work. Then it finally DID work, but it's buggy, with people getting DC'd. I'm pretty sure you are already working on fixing that.
