Cannot Activate DLSS, getting 8FPS

I have an NVIDIA 4090 and cannot activate DLSS from the game settings for some reason. The client and the NVIDIA app are not properly communicating and I'm stuck with an

"

Unable to retrieve current values. Starting and closing the game or app, or editing the settings, should fix this problem.

error message from the NVIDIA app under Graphics>Program Settings>Path of Exile 2 (I've tried to follow the instructions to no avail).

I play on Steam, and I believe it's defaulting to integrated graphics instead of using my graphics card. I'm on Widows 11 as well.

Hi,

I get the same "Unable to retrieve current values..." error when trying to change the settings inside the NVIDIA app. Tried starting and restarting the game and I clean installed the latest driver (5th Dec).

I also cannot change the in game settings quality to anything other than Medium when I'm on Vulkan or DX12, only DX11 lets me move to High and it also gets me a somewhat higher FPS count (~40).

It's true that I'm trying to play the game on a bit of a potato laptop (i5-10300H, GTX 1650Ti) but I get the feeling the game and the graphics card may not be working together as well as they could.
