Talking to hooded one after ch1 to advance to ch2 gets you permanently stuck if done in hideout

I finished the wolf's fight, went to town, went to hideout, talked to hooded one there and picked the dialogue option that seemed to advance to chapter 2.

saw a cutscene that talked about a caravan.

returned to hideout. now can see act 2 map, but have 0 teleporters on that map, no more open quests in chapter 1 either.

Talking to the hooded one no longer has the chapter advance option.



pretty sure i'm bricked.



Restarting the game did nothing.

please help

When i logged in today again, i once more was able to talk to the hooded one to proceed to act 2. nice!
