Do we need to unpack the game as well when the game launches?

usually with these pre downloads you also have to unpack the game as soon as the game becomes available on STEAM, which can take between 10-40 minutes depending on your machine, which will be huge difference when logging into a que on day 1,
my question is, do the path of exile 2 client on this website require unpacking when the game launches as well or is it just log in and sit in que ? Last bumped on Dec 6, 2024, 10:13:02 AM
