POE 2 EA xbox need a game pass core ? I'm confused

like in title I don't know that I need or not. On microsoft show that I need but people saying that I don't need. Can someone give me some answers from devs?
I wanna know that I need for EA or not. I know that later on when will be full game will be free. But what now
