PoE - Automated Patch note site
https://patchnoteme.com/
https://patchnotespoe.com/ So in anticipation of PoE2, I decided to make an automated Patch Note scraper which can be searched in a bit more fast paced way. There will be more developments later, but this version will at least update the notes in max. 15 minutes delay when there's a new development. Hope it helps ! Now Path of Exile 2 - patch notes available ! |

Bookmarked, ty, this will come in handy since I'm constantly searching thru the patchnotes on the wiki.
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

YW, developing the site further for some extra goodies when I have time. Stay tuned :)
p.s feel free to mention the site to others who would find it useful |

No offence, but this looks like it was poorly made by AI. Mainly because theres nothing special about it and the CSS is basic. The background isnt even sized correctly and looking at the codes, your webapp web scrapped the forums for both PoE 1 and 2 with a direct link back too that post it was scraped from.
It would be so much different if you had API access but I doubt GGG has that released. Unless... your using RSS which... who still uses that in 2024? I like the idea, I like the concept, but... its too basic. Just coming from a developers standpoint of view and opinion. Overall. Its still nice to see others being creative in the web development world. Im not shaming you, nor the idea, its just obvious because its way too basic. You could.. maybe use MUI or Tailwind with NextJS or even Svelte or something. It just looks like something I made back in 2000 with Adobe's Dreamweaver MX. |

Wow, thanks for the critique. Just so you know, this site was whipped up in two days to actually serve a purpose, not just to flex CSS skills.
Especially since this is free to use, i don’t get why you’re so dismissive of the effort. I am scraping the forums and the patch notes, each note has a direct link to the thread the patch note is from, which makes it easy to go to the source. There is no api or rss. Maybe next time you could focus on how it serves its users? |
