Let's Explore Totems in Path of Exile 2

Hey folks,

I'm going to use this thread as sort of a catch-all place for me to dump information about totem mechanics in Path of Exile 2 as I test them with the launch of early access.

I'll be playing towards Warbringer to start so I'll mostly be exploring attack totems at first, but plan to get to whatever other totems are available in early access once I get a better understanding of the game.

There may be a "build" proper here eventually, but for now feel free to use this thread as a repository for totem-specific information as it is discovered. Having a public thread will be useful for everyone, hopefully.

Here's to the servers surviving tomorrow!

are u gonna play warbringer for the totem passives? or might other classes be good at totems too?
what do you think?..
the same idea as I have, so mark first
Totems seem almost non existent compared to POe 1.

I see attack totems that use melee, and knock down totems but that's it. I see artilery turrets... but not sure if that's a totem.

Any advice on what is best class for totems in poe2? I was sad to see there is no Warden and spell totems don't exist.
As for me, for a comfortable start, the VOIN is not suitable for totems, a very difficult start, it is difficult to kill the boss with war even in the first location, I had to spend a stone of skill on a self-inflicted gunshot with poison, in the future shaking the totem does not pay for itself without pumping, once every 3 seconds for 12 seconds it will knock in a small radius around it (the speed of attack is not enough) in order to at least slightly strengthen it put the settlement stones in the cold (a bite of cold and whatnot) throwing a frost bomb under the totem. lower the enemy's resistance to the cold and beat the bosses with close combat in more cases it is not possible to kill the bosses, I did not go far, later in the skill branch there will be a skill in which totems can be put unlimited number but 100 spirits are spent for each totem, from where to take the spirit in such a number I do not yet know
You need to get to level 56 there's an ancestral totem, put some kind of split in it, and try it, I can't do it yet.
There are 2 more options, the first is to go as a witch in the spontaneous damage of the cold, pump totems along the way, and play with totems through a cold bite. The second option is to take a necromancer and walk to a passivity with totems where you can put them as much as you want, but 100 spirits = 1 totem and still through elements or chaos as convenient as possible, but this is still a theory.
