Stormweaver Bow Build viable in poe2? (new to poe)

Haven't played poe in 10 years but I've gotten super excited for poe2.
I want a build to maximize cold damage with a bow. Is it worth trying out sorceress for the chill related ascendency perks or is going deadeye going to be significantly safer?
I realize we don't have all the info yet but do any veteran poe1 players have any intuition about it based on past experiences?
