Question from a color blind person( poe 2)
Hello. If anyone knows, I have a question. I am color blind. (In all colors) Therefore, when I was playing the first game, I was having serious problems playing the game because the rarity levels of the items were expressed with colors and we had to use another item to see their properties. (I don't know if this system changed later.) My question is, is the same system used in this game? I want to play the game, but if this is the case, I don't want to buy the game unnecessarily.

It doesn't seem that anything has changed. Item tooltips seem not to indicate the rarity level. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7GiDupkghU
In some games, if you hover the cursor over the item and press Alt, you get additional info such. POE 1 also has this feature, but it does not include rarity. POE 2 might. Maybe some developers will address this or someone who's had access to the game will clarify. I'll update it when EA beings if no one clarifies things till then. |

" I share your pain, and I'm not even fully colorblind. I just got green-red issues (that are actually very common) and the gem system caused me quite the pain untill they have implemented those big socket symbols that you can enable in poe1 options. In poe1 you can customize item filter to display items very differently, be it voice line, font size, using white, grey and black for font colors that will help you a lot. It is easy to tell rarity of item in your inventory itself because normal has no mods, magic has few, rare a lot and unique has flavor text and weird stats. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay, And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today! | |
Does that mean you only see in black and white?

Well, early access has begun and I don't see any marking that specify this item is rare: https://ibb.co/Fh3SJDr Same goes for magic, normal etc. You can probably guess on account of the many affixes, but yeah ... no change here. Hopefully admins will implement a solution here. |
