XBOX POE2 preview client - disable cross-play(already enabled by default) cannot be changed

XBOX POE2 preview client - all options are togglable within menu - except disable cross-play - currently disabled and turned on with a check mark by default. Just want you to be aware and confirm that the patch when EA goes live it will be fixed otherwise this will suck big time. The whole reason is because most of my friends are on PC and I want to play with them with EA.
