For PoE2, which one will have better performance optimization?

No one can say yet since playtests were not through steam. For poe1 it’s very similar for me

My prediction is that the Epic Game Client will work best. I base this prediction on absolutely nothing, but we need to keep all our bases covered.

just like with PoE1 there won't be any performance difference as both use the exact same client with only very minor differences like steam auto logging you into your poe account compared to the manual login with the standalone.

There won't be any difference in performance, you should just use the client you prefer.

Since I had so many Issues with the steam client of PoE1, I will probably just stick with the standalone.
