Dec 6-8 EA PoE2 better be ready for 1,000,000+ players
It probably won't if being realistic, but I hope it will be playable at least on 8 December.
Almost every content creator in one or another way expressed their interest in PoE2 from what people say, youtube, twitch, vtubers (wherever these things inhabit I don't know). And quite a lot of mentions on X / Twitter from people who aren't even familiar much with gaming. Last bumped on Dec 6, 2024, 8:07:35 AM

" Could be much worse. Gaming became much bigger last years, even bigger last 1-2 years. Baldur's Gate 3 had just in Steam 800k+ concurrent players, which is crazy for single player game, and not counting GoG and consoles. Wukong had more than 1 million I think. But those don't have server problems, since single player games. Earlier years such numbers were possible only for smth like CS or PUBG. Even though it's EA PoE2, not full launch PoE2, but am very curious to hear official numbers after the launch from GGG, if there will be any. |

yeah it will be bad and because of time zones NZ support will be probably sleeping when most people want to play

" nope nothing will ever be as bad as blizzard games on launch day |
|
" It's around a 9 am launch for the team in Auckland, so they should be fine. Assuming any major issues are at launch time and for 6-8 hours after, they should be good. |
