Controller support for POE 2 sounds legit

I was very tentative hearing about WASD, but on a controller this might be an amazing experience.

Anybody else excited for controllers?

I do not enjoy to be controlled, so I'm personally against controllers.
Break free guys, mouse-chan and keyboard-sama is always there and has your back in the darkest times. Take the type-writer pill, write your own story, do not let them control you.

Since I have a steam deck I'll be doing both. I'm interested seeing how they do inventory management on controller since it's pretty janky in poE1.

I'm quite fond of having the option. It seems with WASD movement i'll quickly develop more hand/wrist pain. It looks like a lot more work than flask piano, and much more annoying with mouse.

So for me and my bad hands, this is a significant step up. Part of what looked so rough about POE 2 to me was how much movement i'm seeing. With a controller that looks doable, not painful.

Yes this game is meant to be played on a controller imo. 10x better experience.

Controller is great for character movement and play. Not that great when you have to do anything with your inventory management. Jonathan said they are working on the ability to go between the two so you can use mouse and keyboard and controller support at the same time.

That's exactly what i'm expecting. I'm expecting to just be able to play the game, then put down the controller in town and use keyboard/mouse for inventory
