Removing cross play for PSN

I think many will disagree, but I personally have seen the PC community behavior as unsavory and would prefer to just stick with the PSN folks. Doubt this will happen, but would be nice if there wasn’t cross play for PSN and we could play without all of the PC drama.

There’s no mirror builds on psn because nobody is obtaining items through nefarious ways. It’s a much cleaner experience and I feel the way the game was intended to be played. I fear the trade economy and nefarious trading that goes on with PC is going to ruin the console experience.

I saw a button on the options panel for POE2 that had a checkbox to disable crossplay. I think you should be able to tick that and you should be good.

Yep, the game tab has the button to diable crossplay if you so choose.

The issue remains with the trade economy. PC players will destroy the eco like the they did with Poe 1 PC. Poe 1 PSN was completely different. Granted Poe 1 pc you cant even find a quill rain on hardcore. The games effectively dead. However all of these people seem to be getting gear and currency from somewhere…. This elusive “somewhere” is not accessible to PSN players. I prefer this elusive”somewhere” to not be allowed. But I’m a legit player. I obtain my items the right way.

I don't see how having a bigger player economy is a bad thing for consoles. I too enjoyed the different economy on Xbox, but just because it was different doesn't mean it was better/preferable. Drama???
