Release Expectations vs Reality

I know everyone is hyped and can not wait until the game releases on the 6th, but it might be a good thing to get your mindset right.

While everyone is hoping that the servers are stable and we get to play with no issues. However I am already ready to be at 250k in que finally log in and the servers go down and I am back to 250k in que.

Last league the game had 350k concurrent players at launch, but that will probably pale to the amount that will be playing this release. Remember Stand alone client, Steam, Xbox, PS5 are all releasing together and not a week later like normal.

There will balance issues with monsters, skills, ascendancies, etc. There will be changes and those changes might affect the skill or build you are playing. This is not a league and things that are "meta" are probably going to change and that change will not happen at the end.

Remember this game is only 50% complete (at most). This early access is more of a beta then it is a full release.

Save yourself a lot of stress and heartache by having reasonable expectations. Just my two cents

I don’t expect to be able to play on the sixth at all

servers wont be able to handle the load. there were some poe leagues that couldn't handle it and this will be 5x bigger than any poe league launch

if i be able to move my character for a min or two on the 6th i'll be happy. just cant wait to touch it, ykwameen?

I'm working until the 10th, so I will be happy if the servers have calmed down by then.

It's Early Access. If you expect anything to be smooth that's on you :P

Well, it doesn't.

I'll be playing on the 7th anyway, working the day before and dead tired by evening. We'll be fine.

Well im expecting it to be buggy mess. I dont even rule out any account wipes and hard meta swings every day.

He is right everybody , dont bother trying to play day 1 , you wont get in.
