Couch Coop w/ 2 accounts or only 1 account?
Hiya guys
My wife and I plan to play EA together, I purchased supporter pack for myself on PC and for her on Xbox. I'm wondering if I can play couch coop mode with her from my own account, both of us on the Xbox logged into separate accounts in coop mode or would I have to make a character on her account? From what I'm understanding right now I would need to also buy the xbox ea supporter pack to even log in on the console version, so if I bought it on xbox would we still be coop on separate accounts or can it only be done via one account? I'll mainly play on PC but it would be cool to go coop mode (with my own acc) apologies if I made that unnecessarily confusing Thanks Everyone Last bumped on Dec 8, 2024, 7:12:15 AM

You should be fine if game share is set up. However I doubt a real answer will be given before launch.

At least part of this has been answered.
It is definitely possible to couch co-op on a single account (i.e. each player plays a different character from the same account). Co-op with different accounts wasn't as clearly stated, but the way I interpreted what was discussed, it *should* be possible. Keep in mind that PSN accounts will be in MTX-purgatory. But the stated case of PC+Xbox should be fine. As far as early access keys, I do believe they are platform-specific, but I haven't been following it super closely, since, as a PSN-only player, it doesn't really affect me. | |
Many thanks for the replies! Looks like we will have to wait and see regarding couch coop on 2 accounts

I'm wondering the same thing here. We have 1x PSN account family shared. I can play on that shared account (separate chars) just fine. But when playing coop there doesn't seem to be an option to use the characters from that account.
