DIABLO 4 IS COOKED...according to blizzard
all right, the title is a little clickbaity
but it is too funny not to post it here and i am not trying to incite anything too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCWTmNe6Ly0 the official diablo channel announced today a cookbook more expensive than EA key for poe 2, but i have to say that there is some effort in the product ds lily reaction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSfAEOnu_dI btw, they tried to do some ASMR video like almazan's kitchen did with stalker 2 promotion, but i think they kinda failed thoughts? A friend send me this link earlier and I'm not sure if I should feel disgusted or displeased with how bad and unprofessional the showcase is.
Not only did they do a really terrible job at simple dicing and chopping but they also used the possible most dull and budget tools possible. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

idk
that santoku seemed sharpened enough feels like skill issue from the "cook" and they didn't want to do other take the whole idea from those ASMR cooking videos is to awe people and the sound was not that good, not to mention that scraping hard like that is not okay just weird to know where the D4 DLC money went to... " https://youtu.be/yCWTmNe6Ly0?si=Dv-niUnBV188lD5W&t=51 If it really was sharp enough it would have cut through this more easily without pieces still sticking together. But yea could also be a skill issue as even the best Japanese Chef’s Knife wouldn't carry a amateur or newbie. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

maybe as the cut is going along the grain instead of against it, makes it harder to cut
and the cook was applying much pressure instead of gliding the knife and holding the meat with the other hand... now that i took a second glance, midway point of the video they put some kind of "dirt" on the ""chef's"" arms...another thing that is totally not okay for that kind of content lol disgusting even almazan's got some backlash in his videos because he was cooking in the middle of frigging Pripyat for stalker 2 promo, and he is one of the OG ASMR cook youtubers blizzard PR team simply doesn't know the do and do-not for that |

I don't want to play the devil's advocate but it's not that expensive. Cookbooks are pretty expensive already, and they can get more expensive if you buy one that had the name of a celebrity or Movie/TV-Show/Game slapped on it.
Here some exemples: https://www.amazon.fr/Crook-Cook-Snoop-Dogg/dp/1452179611/ https://www.amazon.fr/Mediterranean-Dish-Healthy-Recipes-Cookbook/dp/0593234278 https://www.amazon.fr/korean-cookbook-Junghyun-Park/dp/1838667547 https://www.amazon.fr/s?k=cookbook Last edited by Silverpelt#6095 on Nov 30, 2024, 2:07:12 AM

I'll notify a friend of mine who's a chef de cuisine to have his restaurant staff make video game guides. Seems like an excellent business decision.

" you just touched on the core issue: what value the "diablo brand" has to add for a cookbook? all those other books has someone's name on the line blizzard's idea is not the cookbook, they just want to people engage in the "diablo universe", but in the end they made their costumers angrier as it feels they care more about cooking than balancing diablo 4 (afaik one of the d4 classes overpowers others a lot) they say that the opposite of love is not hatred, but apathy. you can see that there is not a single popular comment talking about the recipes or ASMR, this is a PR disaster. so if the d4 cookbook is only a meme product, it definitely is that expensive, i prefer buying snoop dogg's book (that billionaire's bacon recipe looks real good) Last edited by Dragoon_Diver#5241 on Nov 30, 2024, 8:17:07 AM
