POE 2 Early Access for Hong Kong

Hello.
I am from Hong Kong and I am interested in getting the early access key for POE 2. As it currently stands, the steam version seems to be region blocked and I have heard that traditionally the version of the game (POE 1) for Hong Kong players is different from the "global version". I would like to know if this is still the case for POE 2? I want to play with a friend from New Zealand, but I am not sure if we will not be able to connect to one another due to the difference in the game we have. Hi there, if you are located in the South East Asia region it is unlikely you will be able to play via Steam. However, you should be able to play via the standalone client.

Would I be able to connect to players outside of this region due to client or version differences? Or would I still be able to access other servers with the standalone client? I am trying to play with NZ/American friends.

how about PlayStation 5 for PSN Hong Kong users? the game is listed as releasing in 2025! Does this mean early access will not be available in Hong Kong? thanks |

I live in Hong Kong and paid $30 for the EA not knowing there isn't access here on either epic or steam.. there is no standalone client on your website for PoE2 for EA.. why is it only available via steam/epic?

Agreed, I'm also in Hong Kong and had no indication an EA key wouldn't be available until after I'd already purchased the supporter pack.
What's the resolution here? |

@Vinky_GGG Wanted to play the EA on PS5 over the weekend, but the Founder's Pack still doesn't appear for purchase on the PS5 store (here in Hong Kong, not sure if it's just us in Hong Kong or if it's because of PSN Asia).
Tried contacting PSN Asia but their automated help systems are useless and their help desk has like 1 million % evasion or something like that 🤣 Currently set PoE2 on my PS5 wishlist, hope to see a resolution to this issue as soon as possible. Anyone in HK or PSN Asia have any luck? And yes I already checked the 3 dots, nothing there 🥲 |

Finally got through to a PSN Asia agent. They said they had to look into it, but asked if I knew if the game company blocked access for people in Hong Kong? I don't think we are, right?
Can we get someone from GGG to answer this? Are we on the shit list? Lol🥲 |
