Regular PS5? or PS5 Pro Enhanced?
Hi there, Im really just looking for a little clarification on this.
I am looking to upgrade my PS4 for a PS5 on black friday ahead of the PoE2 Beta start. When viewing the PoE2 page and clicking onto the Sony/Playstation store page, its listed that the Playstation Version to play Path of Exile 2 is a PS5 Pro Enhanced. Does this mean I need the Pro version of the PS5 or is it actually just a fancy way of saying a Regular PS5 is also acceptable to run the game. Feedback would be huge before i make a purchase. Hi there Exile, I'm afraid that this is not something that we are able to comment or speculate on. We apologise for not being able to assist with this.

You can play POE 2 on a base PS5. The phrase “PS5 Pro Enhanced” simply means those that own the PS5 Pro will be able to run a better version of POE 2 as opposed to the base PS5 version. Essentially, POE 2 will be taking advantage of the hardware upgrades in the PS5 Pro, which could mean a higher output resolution or a more stable frame rate, they haven’t released detailed on what the PS5 pro version will entail yet.
