No. Anything done in EA will be effectively reset before launch.

At best EA provides people knowledge of the systems and content.

Reset means nothing because league resets every league. I get where you come from that when a league ends everything goes to standard. Most players like myself only play leagues.

Early Access characters won't carry across to Standard. They will instead go to a separate Early Access vault (for want of a better word). This suggests that GGG don't consider EA to be part of the greater league/season structure.

Feels like the beta test to me.

Just like any BP or league/season. Generally theses games have a launch (EA), followed by season 1. Characters get dumped into a non seasonal realm which is pretty much a ghost town so if you’re a non seasonal gamer you’ll have access to the characters, but not the new seasonal content.

Think of it like a Void League. Once it ends, everything goes to the void. Or in more common terms it's a Beta; it ends, shit gets wiped, and you start a fresh new character in a full game.

Its the base game without any leagues.

Season 1 will likely come next year.
