POE 2 Play OFFLINE???

Hi,

is there any plans to make POE1 or 2 play offline mode for us people who live on the skirts with shitty internet? I mostly play SSF anyway it would be nice to play without LAG.

Not ever, don't know why this is getting spammed so much, there has never been any hint of it having off-line play, and they have said before why it won't, basically they would need to give you server code for the game to work off-line and they won't do that, either that or they waste hundreds of thousands of dollars to recode the game so it wouldn't have anything that could be used to break the on-line portion.
It's also how they make money, where as an off-line version would not be cost effective (they would charge you for it and charge you for future expansions and it would be pirated)

So no, they are not going to make an off-line version.

One hope that when eventually PoE will be closed then maby GGG will give us Offline PoE.

But thats just dream.

I'd pay $100.00 for an offline version. Perhaps someday. I still plunk around with Torchlight, torchlight II and Diablo/Diablo II in single player.

Internet's not terribly great up here.

The Problem with offline Mode would be that the Game could be exploited by using a bot and using Programms Like Pi-torch ore tensflow to accelerate it(But im Not Sure If IT would actualy Work).
