Poe 2 ASWD and skill hotkey

Honest question -
I've seen the announcement trailer and some gameplay videos that have been released with early access and I still don't understand it. How come people are using aswd as a move when W is still used as a skill hotkey? I understand that the mouse movement is still active, but if you've played the released tests, doesn't that affect the gameplay? Last bumped on Nov 24, 2024, 2:03:55 AM

this actually bothered me too i saw them use wasd and they had skill binds on w for example also i thought while on paper it sounds amazing you can use wasd to move but that also means extra 4 buttons you need push all the time for any build you do? that doesnt sound amazing they had like 5-6 active skills+wasd thats like 9-10 button smashing

If they had skills bound to w maybe they had wasd movement assigned to other keys?

I think that for heavy use of WASD and using skills while moving you would have to map few skills to additional mouse buttons.
On the other hand even if for most people this will be worse but for someone it works better, than having the option is a good thing. |
