Path of Exile 2 Steam prices just doubled in my region.

And by the looks of it, many other regions too. Others getting substantial increases.

What is going on? Is this a mistake?

Friends of mine literally bought the game 3-4 hours ago and now I have to pay double the price for the same product because I waited for my salary to come through...

you can also buy from poe website and play on steam still?

PoE website doesn't have all the regions listed, unlike Steam.

The entire point of this post is that weaker economies were able to afford the game and now with the removal of regional pricing its become much MUCH harder. Not to mention that if you purchased the game 4 hours ago you'd have only spent half the price of what it is now.
