Xbox early acces game pass requirement?

Hey is there a game pass requirement to play the early acces on Xbox?
It should still count as f2p even if we pay for early acces. The store on the console says something different than the microsoft store Does anyone have any info on that. The microsoft store says we do need it for multiplayer, while the on console store does not have that disclaimer. As per the description in Xbox store: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/path-of-exile-2/9nd8n4rw5ghx "Online multiplayer on console requires Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass Core (sold separately)." I hope this helps! | |

Thanks for the reply. What confused me was no disclaimer in the store on console. As well that its F2P, which does not require game pass.
Will it require game pass when it fully releases as a F2P title? |

Yeah I'm following this thread. Paying 6 months of gamepass is 60$ (from which you guys will take 0$) until game releases as F2P title. Would be awesome if the game strips the requirement for game pass. Couch co-op was something I was really looking forward to but I guess it would be Steam for me for the time being. I'll withold my purchase until the early access actually releases so we have the full details.

So you have to sub for gamepass now but wont have to when early acsess ends?
