Eleven years of Path of Exile - a personal "thank you" to GGG and the community

I created my account on January 23rd 2013. Since then I have 7472 hours in game. I've spent about $6300 USD on MTX.
Due to the cyclical nature of leagues I have been able to play a worthy successor to Diablo II in the dark and mysterious land of Wraeclast. Sure I'm just a Trade league pleb, but I enjoy being able to hop on and have clear goals on how to progress my character.
I'm grateful for all the friends I've made over the years. It's always nice to see familiar names in Global Chat on league start and see broadcasts from my buddies about how they're doing.

The content has been interesting for the most part, and the leagues that have been bad were still usable in the sense that GGG more often than not learned from their mistakes.

Now Path of Exile 2 is on the horizon and I feel a sense of excitement that I thought I had lost. The game looks incredible and I look forward to experience it with all of you.

Thank you to GGG for answering my tickets in a timely manner via email. Thank you to the community for always being helpful and creating third-party tools we all enjoy.
You're the reason I play this game after more than a decade.

Thank you for 11 years of PoE and I hope we get to share 11 more. You guys mean the world to me.
My most hated game.
My most favorite game.
Such is the duality of man.

2013 here too. 11 years and Shaper is still alive, maybe I'll beat him in PoE 2. xD

Thanks for game GGG.

I second this!

Just the fact that I still want to log in and play PoE after 12 years is a sign of a good game made by talented people (and maybe a semi-addiction, but lets not go into that :P). I'm an old man now and don't really play that much/many video games anymore, but once a new league comes out, I'm a gamer once more.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
March 11th, 2012 here.

I haven't had as much time as I've wanted to play the game in recent years, but still continue to support the game. It's crazy seeing how much the game has changed and how big it's become compared to when I originally signed up.

Similar here (Joined: Mar 27, 2013). Since i started i never beat up Shaper or Maven. Recently i beat up Elder and it was fun. I will try Shaper soon.

Also never before reached lvl100 but that changed recently.

I like it.
been since 2012 never skipped league
Thanks GGG for creating my favourite game. Let's hope PoE2 will get the second place (or, maybe, even first eventually).
