How do I know if I have access to poe 2 early access?
So I entered the steam key I got and PoE2 is in my steam library, but in the message it says:
"Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." Is there another key I'm supposed to have? Last edited by Pontusen255#3054 on Nov 27, 2024, 2:54:58 AM Last bumped on Dec 4, 2024, 12:58:27 PM

I have the same question. But I have 2, I thought the +1 was an extra key so I was going to give it away during lastnights live stream but I read the line you quoted and then there is this line "This key can be redeemed on the Path of Exile website." but when I try to redeem it says my account isn't eligible or similar msg.
So I now think I used my Steam key to see the Steam Client, but I have to use the other key to enable Early Access? Maybe I need to wait till closer to the 6th to use :s |

Hey Terminalz, as mentioned in our Early Access FAQ here:
How to redeem a key? Upon purchasing your first supporter pack that includes an Early Access key, that key will be automatically redeemed on the account the purchase was made. You don’t have to do anything else, just download the game client when it’s available and login on launch day! If you're unsure about your status, or want to view any of your keys, this information is available under my-account/early-access. If you have purchased a key and/or have access granted for one PC game client (Stand-alone, Steam, or Epic), but wish to play on another game client, you will be able to do so by claiming a key to unlock access to that client. These are available at my-account/early-access and can be redeemed on the relevant platform's store. Please note these keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account. As an example, if you purchase a Supporter Pack through the Path of Exile website, you will be able to claim a key to unlock the client in your Steam Library. Need help with anything? Please contact us at support@grindinggear.com for assistance :)

" Ah thnx, so the "+1 Path of Exile 2 Early Access Key" that says its "Used: false" is a spare key? I can do with as I please? I just noticed at the top it says I have early access, I should learn to read :D |

" This phrase here is so confusing ....... "Please note these keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account." so if i bought a pack and it gave me a steam key and its now in my library.. its still not sure i can play on DEC 6? you guys are confusing in your wording... " Yea, just look at the top of the page that you got your Steam key from, it should say "Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support!" So when the Steam client is available, u should be able to download and login. |

I feel so confused on the key situation.
any chance you can clarify this. If I hit over threshold will my account be "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access" Until they deal out keys? I think I might have hit the threshold but not sure. been tough finding a new job so cant spend on games but would be nice to grind a few hours to de stress while I cant talk to possible employers. Cheers everyone | |
I've spent well over $1000 USD on Poe 1...........why have I not received early access to POE2?

" Yes, my account said the same not having access before I recently got my EA code. I primarily play on steam so I got steam client key to gain access to the game client in library. My account already has access so when I got a supporter pack that key showed "used: False". I gave that key to my lil bro. |

Yeah I'm confused by this, especially the, "Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away." does that mean I still need to buy the pack or not? I got the email saying I have early access, so confused hehe.
So what does it mean? |
