Abyss infinitely producing mobs

The abyss (the green crack in the ground if i got that wrong, (im new)) seems to be stuck on a pillar and isn't moving, it continuedly produces more monsters (that don't give exp) and can't be walked on (like when it's waiting for you to kill all the other monsters produced). I don't know if this bug is known.
